I feel like a moth

It's been an emotional week. I blame flare up/raging hormones/raging emotions and FRUSTRATING DOCTORS! Not to mention I caught a 24 hour bug from my dear Merman.

*Humpffff*

I have never been to a rheumatologist before, not sure I have the courage to go back after my first appointment. It was the same old feeling of the doctor not believing me on anything I said.

After awhile I began to think, "WHY am I here! Why am I putting up with this crap?!"

I had to keep reminding myself, it’s because no one will give you an answer to your height loss. In less than a year I lost two inches in height. I used to be 5'7&3/4" tall. In May we found out I was down to 5'6" even.

All tests came back negative/normal. Even my bone density test revealed I have picture perfect bones. No loss whatsoever. But my MRI's show further degenerative disc disease and further loss of disc fluid.

Hummmmmm.... ya think that might be the problem? I do, but the doctors are convinced it has nothing to do with my loss and hence the reason why I was ready to walk out on the rheumatologist. WHOM after almost 2 hours of questioning and finally having me break down most humiliatingly in tears came to the conclusion, or should I say he wants to test my Pituitary Gland and test for Hepatitis C.

Needless to say I am less than thrilled about the whole HCV. Mainly because from the impression I was left with, the doctor thinks I *might* have contracted it from my tattoos. I've already ranted enough about it over at El Jay so I'll spare you all the same stuff. Still, I'm not pleased but I'll have to wait and see what the blood test results show.
