It's Friday! I think this has been the longest week ever, of course being in the fog and unable to stay awake at my desk for more than an hour at a time hasn't helped. Whatever.
Soooo the Sinkhole that ISN'T a sinkhole - at least according to our landlord lady - has been marked off. We came home to find it'd been outlined with paint. It would be nice to know just what exactly are they going to be doing to our driveway. Not to mention the "Not" sinkhole runs under Judy's porch as well. Granted it'd been nice if they'd done something about the "Non" sinkhole a few years ago when we'd pointed it out instead of letting it grow and get deeper and wonder every morning if we'll walk out and find not only Ma Pretty Luka half-way down said "Non" sinkhole but Judy's porch collasped as well. But I guess we're just asking for too much huh?
This weekend is Apple picking time, which means the boys are leaving for up North tonight leaving Raven alone for TWO nights instead of one. From what I hear the apple crop this year is going to be masssssive. I mean *usually* after the picking is done they have accumulated roughly 70 to 90 bushelles of apples so I wonder how much they're going to pick this year. If the peaches are any indication of the apple crop - whoaaa nelly! It's gonna be a shitload of apples.
I *finally* remembered to print out our tickets for *Collective Soul*. They are playing at like the smallest theater in Albuquerque! And while reading the small print on the tickets, I discovered there are no assigned seats and it's limited seating which in short means, first come first served and/or seated and probably more tickets have been sold then there are seats.
I really would like to see Al Gore speak. Call it another of Raven's kinks but I like the man. I liked him when he was Vice-President and I just like him as a person; he's tall (6'1"), he's charming, eloquent, really has a great sense of humor and Raven could listen to him speak all day long. Okay, back on track, he's hosting a second lecture on his *An Incovenient Truth* lecture. I've seen it on the movie channels but hey! It's Al Gore In Person! I just might remember to go look up ticket prices. Maybe.
I'm thinking of seeing "The Kingdom" sometime this weekend. Not like I have an over flowing agenda to complish or anything.
