So my new Jag, she still be too short for Raven's legs and makes for tiring riding, but am happy to have a bike once more. Also it's kinda nice to think that even though my spine has shrunk, my legs have not. That's a good thing right?

With the help of my SIL and her SO and Elz, we will take my old Jag back to the store with the new reciept and return the wreck that's sitting on my front porch and hopefully get my money back. After all I'd barely had it a but a month and half before the gears committed harricarry.

Now on to the GREAT NEWS!!! Judy is home! After draining 600cc of fluid from her lungs guess what! She's feeling better! *smirks*

Although it's because of the cancer the fluid builds up in her lungs but its because of the Chemo treatment that makes her feel so rotten. So the plan now is to lower the dosages of the Chemo. But lord almighty, she looks and behaves a 1000 times better! Although she has lost a great deal of weight, she looks and feels so much better. So *YAY* she's home for the time being.

Actually no. Because of my FM I don't wear anything on my wrists. Hurts too much.

Only when I'm expecting something: My bunny to come on line, a movie, to call Elz, give Lorraine her breaks. Else I don't look at the clock.

3. Would you say you have a good sense of time? In other words, how good are you at estimating how much time has passed?
Pretty good actually. Because I also have CFS I sometimes take naps in my car during lunch and I've gotten pretty good at guessing how long I can sleep.


4. Are you early, punctual, or perpetually late?
Eternally fashionably late.

5. Do you ever wish your time management skills were different? How?
Honestly. At times I wish we as humans didn't have to sleep. Cuz if we didn't then Raven would be up all night. I just have so many things I want/need to do and never enought time to finish them all.

It's the middle of the week, time to mind hump! Today is Refrigerator Day (or Icebox Day if you're Emeril Lagasse).

Out of sheer bordom we put "The Marine" on the movie station. It was like watching a train wreck. Like picking at a scab or scratching a bug bit - cuz you just couldn't stop watching because it was just that bad! Serously - Baaad cheezy movie. But good lord that boy had arms! The "Hero" was listed as a professional wrestler and this was his first movie. OMG! It was badddd! XD

Speaking of movies, "Ultra Violet" was on lastnight and Elz made the comment he'd like to see Ultra Violet and Christian Bale's character from "Equilibrium" pair up. I had to agree although whether he meant pair up together as a team or pair up as in opposing sides he wasn't completely clear. Either way, it'd be uber cool!

I knew vaction was offically over today cuz I had wear pants to work. No more shorts for Raven. But I still got my California Tan!

The Byzantine chain is on temporary hold cuz One: my hands are sore and Two: Raven's muscles, joints, skin, body are still recovering from the weekend bike ride. Old Bike = FM irritant. ANDDD since I'm back on the topic of bikes; Elz doesn't want me to buy the same bike again which is understandable. He wants to take my Jag to a bike repair place and see if they can replace the gears and place a gear shield so it doesn't happen again. Ya wellll... that's fine and all but I only paid what, 100 bucks for the thing? And I don't think the repair could be justified, know what I mean? And yes I did go to the Schwinn web site and as I suspected, they don't honor the warranties, only the store that sold the bike can do something about it. *Pfffttttt* ya, right. So back to what bike to buy. I simply cannot ride a bike that resembles any form a mountian bike for it does nasty hurtful things to Raven. I guess I'll go to Wal-Mart and see if they might have something equivlant to the Schwinn bike.

I need to go to bed on time, school season will be starting soon. I can't be getting up at 7:00, we'd be far too late. So I gotta get use to going to bed ealier and getting up ealier too.

My Jag - He is beyound repair.

This sucketh. Sucketh big time cuz I only had it a few months.

Sooooo, do I rebuy the same bike? This is the only bike that is an "upright" design and has gears. :\

I went to Target they have three Jag bikes left, all 'Girl' designs but only ONE of them is a blue Jag the other two are PINK!

I feel like I've spent a week moving furniture instead of having taken a bike ride. Oy Raven is not using the old bike any more and I need to get the Jag fixed and/or replaced. Oh sure my old bike can go *a lot* faster simply because it's a mountian bike that has 21 speeds and the Jag is a free rider and has 5 gears and I can't go as fast, it didn't make me hurt so much.

Go to the evil Wal-Mart to buy a few things for the Pena household

Check on Judy - Already done, she's going to have another chesttube placed which means she probably won't be home until next weekend. But the good news (sorta) is it wasn't a heartattack just an extremely high heart rate from the fluid in her lungs and hence the chest tube.

Go shop for a ipod/MP3 player, I really don't know the difference and Sparklie Girl's computer is misbehaving so I can't nag pick her brain for more clues. I will go to the store she mentioned a few weeks back and see what they have to offer.

Go to the store buy some veggies for a stir fry

I am learning how to make A Byzantine Chain cuz I've always wanted to know and I found some instructions!

I stayed up until 3:30(!) watching "Stick It". It was actually very cute and funny and completely not what I thought it was when it was released at the movies. I also watched "The Fallen" yesterday, meh, it was Okay. Raven is a sucker for wings and it was just "OK" and probably not a show I will keep up with.

I know it's only been two days but I realllllly miss ma Bunny and October is a very long time away. =(

About tonight...
First I have been very generous and allowed the mosquitoes to use me as their dinner. I know, very generous.

And my Jag is broken. Remember my Jag? Somehow while switching gears the GEARS THEMSELVES committed harrycarrie into the spokes of the back tire.

Raven was not happy. Not happy at all. I had to take the chain off the gears, bend the gear back and *thankfully* I hadn't gone too far and the walk home was relatively short with black oily hands. No, not very happy. After all I'd only had it what? A few months? Guess I know why it was on sale.

AND!!! damnit! While wrestling with the chain I'd taken off my earphones which then got caught up in the front tire spokes and guess what. Yupppaaaa Raven needs to buy new a headset.

Soooooo... I took the big comfy seat off my poor Jag and put it on my old bike while still providing a fresh meal for the mosquitoes. GAH! Raven is bitten all over! Not to mention I now recall vividly WHY I don't ride my old bike any more. Raven's back, wrists and neck are hurt'n something fierce.

><' So I was determined to go for a ride so I did anddddd yes the chain fell off Again! *grumbles* At least this time I got the chain on cuz I'd already gone about a mile and walking home would have sucketh big time. But then the rain storm that'd been looming all evening was getting bigger, darker and the lightening was making Raven scared like a cotton tailed rabbit a bit nervous so I made a quick circuit of my usual bike route and scampered home just as the lightening storm hit. No rain, just lightening.

Did I mention!!! The new med the neurologist prescribed me is a godsend! OMFG! It's about time. Cept the instructions say take with food to avoid nausea. *pffttt* I discovered its better to take it on an empty stomach, food only makes me feel nauseated, nauseated but pain freeeeeeee!

THEN while in the process of burning my dinner got a call from Don. Seems Judy won't be home this weekend after all. The docs think she suffered another heart attack so she's stuck most likely until about Wednesday. My poor Judy, she truly is a Saint stuck in a very fragile body.

The movies Raven has seen this last week or so.

Even though I admit I have not read an official version of this, I did hear it on the radio. BUT:

Yesterday four kids were kicked off an Amtrak Train for having stolen an iPod from another passenger. What's the big deal, aside from the fact every last one was underage and they were traveling by themselves; the oldest being 15, 2 12 year olds and one 10 year old; they were bound for NM and they were kicked off in Arizona.

Left alone.

My son is 12 years old.

Yes stealing the iPod was definately the dumbest thing they could have done, but seriously folks, leaving minors alone in a different state at 2:00 in the morning.

Me thinks me hears the ruffling of papers being filed against Amtrak.

Idiots, Amtrak could have handled it far better.
