Are you Blue?

So it's been handed down to me to come up with a challenge for the Etsy Beadweaver's Team Challenge theme for the month of March, 2014. This after having won the team's challenge for the month of November, 2013 entitled, "Out of this World". This was my entry, entitled "Exotic Alien Skin". I was and truthfully still am, thrilled to have won!
Now if you know Raven at all, then you *KNOW* how much I LOVE the color blue. So I've been pondering and plotting a way to include Blue into this challenge. After many a Google search, I think I have come up with a decent Challenge Idea. Now the Birth Stone for the Month of March is Aquamarine.
Just look at the many shades it comes in! Aquamarine is very pretty, yes but then so is Turquoise! AND...!!! Just look at Tanzanite Can you guess where I'm going with this theme yet? :D Now look at them all together and be in awe! lol!
And how well they can bring out other colors,
Here's my theme proposal, Are You Blue? Use Aquamarine (March's birthstone), use Turquoise and use Tanzanite; use the colors individually, or two of the colors together or better yet! All three together because the more Blue, the better! Raven. :D =============================== You can visit and view the many and awesome contributions to the Etsy Beadweavers either on Etsy Here: https://www.etsy.com/teams/6309/etsy-beadweavers or here at the Blog spot: http://www.etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com

Am I limited to aquamarine, tanzanite and turquoise? I've used other blues in a pin I just finished, but those colors are not part of the cobalt, ice blue and metallic blues I've used. Please advise me! Thanks.

Hi Norah, the idea was you could use as many different colors of blue, so long as you also used Tanzanite and/or Turquoise and/or Aquamarine.

Although it seems from some of the entries already submitted, they are simply using Blues in general without including the required shades of blue.

Sooooo use your discretion as you see fit.

Does that help?

Hi Raven, Yes. That helps a lot! Thank you! Love your "ideas", too. And, your piece is lovely!
